Tonite
Social Syncing collaborated with Shekhar Tonite to build a bold, cohesive brand identity from the ground up.

Planning
For Shekhar Tonite, the vision was never about creating just another “good-looking” brand identity. The goal was to revive a feeling the nostalgia, personality, and iconic visual culture that once defined legendary late-night television experiences like the OG era of Movers & Shakers. We wanted the audience to instantly feel familiarity, warmth, entertainment, and timeless charisma the moment they interacted with the brand. Our planning process began with understanding the emotional memory attached to classic Indian talk shows and entertainment culture. We studied vintage television graphics, retro stage aesthetics, old-school typography styles, cinematic colour palettes, and iconic visual storytelling techniques that made those shows unforgettable. The challenge was to translate that nostalgic energy into a modern, premium, and digitally adaptable identity without making it feel outdated.
The biggest challenge wasn’t creating something visually attractive, it was finding the perfect balance between legacy and reinvention. Shekhar Tonite needed to feel iconic & fresh at the same time. Every design decision was carefully crafted to preserve the emotional essence of classic entertainment while introducing a bold, contemporary visual language that resonates with today’s audience.

Build & Execution
The execution phase focused on creating a complete entertainment-first visual ecosystem that could work seamlessly across digital platforms, social media, promotional assets, and show branding. From logo exploration and typography systems to retro-inspired visual elements, colour psychology, and motion-led branding directions, every detail was designed to build recognition and recall value. We developed a visual identity that feels cinematic, expressive, and memorable, combining nostalgia-driven storytelling with modern branding aesthetics. The typography was designed to carry a strong showbiz personality, while the visual compositions were structured to evoke the larger-than-life energy.
The final brand system was built to create consistency across all touchpoints while still feeling dynamic, entertaining, and culturally rooted. The result is a brand identity that not only looks timeless but emotionally reconnects audiences with an era of television that people still remember and admire today.
